His first time to be shown was the 2000 APHA World Show where he finished 4th in the 3 Yr Old Western Pleasure Challenge. Leggs went on that year to win several Western Pleasure Futurities along with some Hunter Under Saddle wins.
As a 4 yr old several new classes were added including Amateur All Around events and Western Riding. That year he was awarded the Res. World Championship in Jr. Western Riding at the APHA World Show and collected several Superior Awards in multiple events.
His first foal crop came in 2001 but was limited to only a few mares due to his show schedule in 2000. His first 2 foals, Artistic Assets and Treasured Assets have gone on to have great success in the show pen.
